Vitamins & Supplements

Give your Body what it needs..

Next to water, protein is the most plentiful substance in the body. Protein is a substance containing nitrogen and is one of the most important elements for the maintenance of good health and vitality. It is of primary importance in the growth and development of all body tissues. It is the major source of building material for muscles, blood, skin, hair, nails, and internal organs, including the heart and the brain. Protein is needed for the formation of hormones, which control a variety of body functions such as growth, sexual development, and rate of metabolism. Protein also helps prevent blood and tissues from becoming either too acid or too alkaline and helps regulate the body’s water balance.
Protein is plentiful in our food, however different people have different eating habits.
Since animals are a main source of protein, vegetarians must find alternative ways of getting their protein. Quinoa, Morenga, and many other plant sources are a good way to supplememnt the protein the body needs for muscle developement. Another great way to get the right amount of protein is with supplements, or ‘protein shakes’

I STRONGLY recommend both of these protein powders- they can taste like a milkshake after a tough workout, and what better of a way- than to reward yourself with something your body actually needs, and tastes amazing!!!!
